Audit Agile Assets: A UX and Design Review
Why Agile Assets Needs a Redesign
When searching for a social media scheduler, I came across Agile Assets. My approach to content creation involves batching 10-20 pieces of content and scheduling them in advance. While Agile Assets seemed like a potential solution, I quickly noticed several UX and design flaws that could be impacting their conversions. Here’s why I believe this platform needs a redesign and how it can improve.
1. Missing Critical Information on the Homepage
When evaluating a scheduler, pricing is one of the first things users check. However, Agile Assets does not display pricing on the homepage or in the main navigation. This forces users to search for it, which can increase frustration and bounce rates.
Similarly, integration details are unclear. Does it support Bluesky? X? YouTube? Users need this information upfront to make an informed decision. Without clear answers, many will leave the site before exploring further.
2. High Bounce Rate & Lack of User Feedback
Because critical information is missing or hard to find, the website likely has a high bounce rate. However, there’s no apparent system for gathering user feedback to understand why visitors leave. Implementing UX improvements and user surveys could provide valuable insights to optimize conversions.
3. Design Issues Affecting User Experience
- The logo is prominently displayed, but users care more about functionality than branding.
- The navigation menu has inconsistent spacing, making it visually unbalanced.
- The font size is too small, and the background contrast is too low, making readability difficult.
Hero Section Issues
- The slogan is appealing but gets lost in a cluttered layout.
- The “Free Trial” button is too small and placed in a black button within the navigation, making it easy to miss.
- The hero image is split awkwardly, creating visual confusion.
4. Poor Content Hierarchy & Feature Presentation
As users scroll down, the content does not prioritize user needs. For example:
- The image gallery lacks explanatory text—what are these images showcasing?
- Features should be clearly labeled and tied to user benefits.
- The contrast issues make reading difficult in multiple sections.
5. Confusing Pricing Structure
When I finally found the pricing, the plan names were unclear. What’s the difference between “Cosmo City” and “Global Village”? If a potential customer cannot immediately understand their options, they are unlikely to sign up.
6. Friction in the Scheduling Process
Once inside the platform, I encountered additional usability issues:
- Connecting social media accounts was not immediately apparent.
- Post scheduling was unintuitive. After selecting an image and setting a time, the platform did not clearly indicate where the post would be published.
- The channel selection process was hidden behind an unclear rocket icon, which did not provide enough visual guidance.
7. Branding & UX Inconsistencies
The platform aims to stand out with vibrant colors, quirky fonts, and playful design elements. However, the execution lacks cohesion, making it harder to navigate. The focus should be on usability rather than just aesthetics.
Final Thoughts & Recommendations
Agile Assets has strong software potential, but its UX and UI design are holding it back. Here’s what can be improved:
- Make Pricing & Integrations Visible – Users shouldn’t have to dig for crucial information.
- Improve Navigation & Readability – Balanced spacing, larger fonts, and better contrast will enhance usability.
- Optimize the Scheduling Process – The user journey should be intuitive from sign-up to post scheduling.
- Clarify Pricing Plans – Plan names should be descriptive and informative.
- Gather User Feedback – Implement surveys or analytics to understand where users struggle.
